Kids After Hours Centers are open on all snow days
unless Montgomery County Administrative Offices are
closed. We do our best to maintain regular hours of
operation. However, when school is delayed or closed
due to inclement weather or special circumstance
(e.g., water main break, community emergency, etc.),
we may also be forced to delay openings or to call for
early closings in order to ensure the safety of the
children and our staff members. A message is left on
Center answering machines by 6:00 a.m. on days of
inclement weather, local televisions stations list Kids
After Hours status on their morning broadcasts, and
emails to Center families are sent on mornings of
inclement weather. Families are contacted by telephone by Center staff if parents
need to pick up children early.
Please also remember to Bring Winter Clothing because we will be going outside to enjoy the snow!
